The New CCF Website is Here!
Carrington Charitable Foundation is expanding its mission to support our nation’s Veterans, and we’ve been working hard to create a more public face for the organization as well as increase charitable participation. Part of that expansion involves redesigning our website, giving it a brand-new look we know you’re going to love.
“We wanted to give the website a new face, and offer a new way to tell the CCF story both internally, and for our more public-facing audience,” explains Shelly Lawrence, CCF’s Executive Director of Community Relations. “It was important to make the information more accessible, and for people to understand why we’re doing what we are.”
Although the site looks dramatically different, debuting a sleek, more modern design, all the content you know and love will still be available. We’ll still have Carrington House updates, and behind-the-scenes stories of our Associates’ charitable efforts. The home page will be more user-friendly in its display of all the site’s features, and will include more photos, providing a better visual experience.
“Overall, we wanted to create a updated version of the CCF website that was more in line with who CCF is now and what we’re doing,” Shelly says. “Now, all of the information on the site is very easily digestible. We’ll also be featuring the latest news in a blog format, which will detail all the important updates on our projects, things CCF is doing, and how people can get involved.”
Ultimately, Shelly says she hopes all Associates will continue to see the site as a valuable resource, and use it to help share CCF’s mission outside Carrington. She also hopes it will help attract more people interested in our mission to provide Veterans a more enriching life post-combat. But don’t let us tell you all about it – see for yourself, and let us know what you think!
