CCF Donates $10,000 to Breast Cancer Awareness

November 11, 2017

The month of October marked our annual dedication to Breast Cancer Awareness charities, including the launch of events such as Wear Pink Day, and supporting our Associates participating in charitable walks and runs by matching their donations and fundraising efforts. This year, we’re pleased to share that we’ve donated $10,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in support of breast cancer research!

With a mission to save lives by investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer, the Susan G. Komen Foundation is one of the leaders in the fight for breast cancer. The organization focuses on education, research, screening and treatment to help support the millions of women who are affected by breast cancer, with 80% of the money they raise going toward fulfilling their mission – and their efforts are paying off. Between 1989 and 2015, the number of deaths from breast cancer has dropped 39% − and more than 3 million survivors have been supported through related research and community programs.

We’re proud to support such an important charity so tirelessly dedicated to women’s health, and we’re honored that so many of you participated in charitable efforts surrounding breast cancer awareness. The movement is a success because all of us continue to work together to fight for a cure – and as the Susan G. Komen Foundation shows, we’re making a difference. Let’s keep up the good work!
