CCF Takes Time to Give Back This Holiday Season

November 18, 2021

The Carrington Charitable Foundation (CCF) has a proud history of supporting highly regarded nonprofits so that we and our Associates can give back to our communities. It truly means a lot to us to be able to make a difference in the places where we live and work. That’s why we’re honored to once again be able to team up with four very distinguished organizations and support their charitable events this holiday season.

Carrington is hosting a no-contact, drive-up donation event at the Westfield, IN, Campus parking lot on December 11, 2021, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on behalf of Helping Veterans and Families (HVAF). Through this event, Carrington will be able to give back to those local heroes who have served our country and their kids who need our support.

For people who can’t attend the event but still want to contribute, a drop-of bin inside the lobby is also available until December 10, 2021, where you can leave new or gently used toys, food and other charitable goods. And if you’re not in the area but would still like to contribute, you can use the Amazon Wish List app, purchase donations on the site and a member of management will make sure your donations arrive at their final destination.

CCF and our Associates are also contributing online to Illumination Foundation (pictured below) for their Adult Stocking Holiday Drive, going on now through December 3. Prefilled with an assortment of candy, treats and supplemental items like gift cards and activity books, each stocking ordered off of the organization’s Amazon Wish List page goes directly to one of the clients residing in Illumination Foundation’s Medical Respite/Recuperative Care and Shelters/Navigation Centers.

To help serve hungry families in the Northwest Indianapolis, Carrington is honored to host a food drive in support of the Crooked Creek Food Pantry (CCFP) (pictured above). Located inside the Eskenazi Health Center, CCFP operates as a client-choice pantry, working to eliminate hunger while building relationships with the families and individuals who look to them for support. In addition to food, people can select from a variety of everyday essentials, receive nutritional information on how to make healthier food choices and connect with CCFP for educational opportunities and programs that may assist them in moving out of poverty cycle.

Care to join us in any of these festive holiday causes? There’s still time to contribute! But hurry: The deadlines are fast approaching. If you like, you can also support Illumination Foundation and make a donation on their site to help the most vulnerable homeless adults and children break the cycle of homelessness. You can also make a donation to the CCFP to help fight hunger here. Or contact CCF if you have any suggestions for Holiday Drives in your local area!
